This is a fabulous handmade bag for your knitting, crochet, craft project or just general use. It easily holds two skeins of yarn with room to spare. This will stand up on it's own if filled or the top can be folded down if desired.
This bag is made from a vintage and very stained/aged/patina Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco bag (front) and a Fulton feed sack (back) with a Levi button closure at the top.
Because these are old, used bags they do have stains, creases, wear and some small frayed holes. They were washed twice before turning them into bags so some of the print may be faded. The base is new waxed canvas and the interior is new unbeached cotton duck canvas.
It has a divided interior pocket that runs the width of one side, black cotton webbing handles and a cotton drawstring cord.
This is a medium size bag, It measures 14" wide x 13" tall and is 9" x 6" on the bottom.
The waxed canvas is naturally water and stain resistant and will get better and softer with use and age. Crease and wrinkles are a normal effect and add to the character of the bag.
